We’ve made viewing the service stage of vessels at boatyards easier and simplified the process for customers who want to save their credit card details in MarinaPay.
These upgrades are among the headline new features released in our Pacsoft version updates for early 2025.
The service job stage update makes life easier for users of our Boatyard & Storage module by allowing colour-coding of vessels on the ‘Haul Out Booking Grid’ screen. This simplifies communication between office and yard staff by helping everyone understand, at-a-glance, which vessels are ready to work on. Custom statuses and colours can be configured as desired to suit your team’s workflow.
The second headline new feature is a helpful improvement to MarinaPay that makes it easier for marina staff to ‘tokenise’ customer credit cards so they are securely saved in the system for future transactions, if a customer is happy to do so.
Customers can already opt in to have their cards saved for future use when making payments via the customer portal, but the enhancement allows marina staff to tokenise customer cards, with a customer’s permission, when processing a credit card payment in-person or over the phone.
Other improvements in recent Pacsoft version releases include an ability for marinas to directly manage registrations of vessels themselves if they want to do so, as well as improvements that make importing transactions between Pacsoft and the MarineM port management system easier.
PacsoftNG Cloud users will already have access to all recent enhancements. If you are hosting your own Pacsoft application, contact our help desk today to schedule an upgrade to the latest version.
