New time-saving features have been added to Pacsoft, including the ability to bulk import bank receipts and a utility interface for Patron Power that makes it easy to view electricity usage via Orto-Mate pedestals at your marina.
These changes, released as part of our recent version 7.14 and 7.13 updates, are part of our mission to ensure Pacsoft remains the most comprehensive marina, boatyard and yacht club management software in the market.
“We’re delighted to be able to release another time-saving update ahead of the Christmas holiday season,” says Pacsoft General Manager Sean Cocks.
“Our Patron Power partnership will be boon for many smart marinas and bulk importing of receipts will remove the need for users to spend time each morning entering yesterday’s bank receipts into the system and matching them against customers.”
Customer portal improvements
The Pacsoft Customer Portal has received some love in the latest version releases too. Version 7.14 makes it possible for staff and customers to view messages sorted by conversation, and the MarinaPay section of the portal now supports different payment card options, with the ability for administrators to set different surcharges for each.
Greater control, more efficiency
There are some other handy enhancements in this month’s pre-Christmas release.
With version 7.14 on board, marina and boatyard administrators will now have the choice of excluding particular customer accounts from being automatically balanced when the system-wide ‘automatic allocation’ process is run. While most users take advantage of the auto allocation functionality, this provides an option to flag particular customers to be excluded, if the need arises.
Last, but not least, our recent enhancements simplify the process of transferring chandlery purchases direct to a service job by removing the number of clicks, dropdowns and fields administrators need to complete for each purchase.
“We know how busy things can get at this time of year so we hope these small updates will relieve the pressure slightly,” Sean says.
