This month marks the launch of PacsoftNG’s new Service App.
Designed specially to support the operational side of marina and boatyard management, the new app makes it easy for marina and boatyard staff to upload smart notes and keep records in Pacsoft while undertaking dockwalks or on the go.
“The new app is a powerful upgrade to our existing Dockwalk App,” says Pacsoft General Sean Cocks.
“It’s designed to work on mobile devices and is built on modern technology that makes it simple for us to make value-add enhancements in future.”
At launch, the new Service App will enable dockhands to mark vessels in and out during dockwalks, manually enter utility meter readings, access vessel and occupant details stored in PacsoftNG and add smartnotes for maintenance or exception reports for issues.
In future, additional features will be added to make it simple for Service App users to view PacsoftNG’s visual marina from the app. Boatyard functionality is also planned, including the ability for workers to add photos, service notes and view vessel detail while on the yard. For managers, the app’s future development roadmap includes the ability to run revenue, occupancy and other management reports while on the go.
